Undergraduate student Amy Blatt was selected to participate in the 2012 Summer Institute in Biomedical Optics at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine in collaboration with the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST). She will be performing research on photodynamic therapy, a cancer treatment, under the direction of Dr. Tayyaba Hasan.
